Project Info
Challenge
Kusuri already had a busy online store that was doing well, but it was starting to look rather dated. They also had a very ‘cluttered’ interface and the flow of the site was confusing, with a lot of pages hidden in sub-menus. They decided it was time for a redesign to improve the user experience and modernise the site’s appearance.
Solution
The website was redesigned from the ground up, starting with a complete overhaul of the home page. The new site was completed in a temporary ‘staging’ area, keeping the existing site up and running until we were ready to go live. This period allowed me to work with Kusuri on trying out their own creative ideas. Amongst many other things, new features were added to improve the shopping experience and a new pop up mailing list opt-in helps to better engage visitors.
Website Redesign
A Fresh New Interface
The design utilises a lot of white space, keeping it elegant and easy on the eye. The colours that are used reflect those of Kusuri’s product ranges, tying it all in together. The menu has now been simplified, removing the need for drop down sub-menus, while making it easier for customers to find what they are looking for.
Website Flow
Improved Customer Experience
To further improve the customer experience, we also added dynamic product filtering and the ability to modify product options (sizes, etc.) from the shopping cart.
The contact details are displayed prominently throughout the site so that customers are always able to get in touch at the click of a button. This includes the phone number, email address and a Facebook link on the menu bar as well as in the footer, along with a contact form.
